Do you dine out? Do you grocery shop? I hope you said yes to both of those! If so, you may want to check out the Capital One Savor and Savor One credit cards. They both offer unlimited 3% cash back on all grocery purchases and 1% cash back on everything else. But here’s the real benefit:
The Savor Card ($95 annual fee)
Unlimited 4% cash back on dining and entertainment
Current sign-up bonus: $300 cash bonus when you spend $3,000 within the first 3 months
The Savor One Card (no annual fee)
Unlimited 3% cash back on dining and entertainment
Current sign-up bonus: $200 cash bonus when you spend $500 within the first 3 months
This means that if you spend $9,500 on dining and entertainment in a year (that’s less than $800 per month), it’s worth the $95 annual fee of the Savor to get the extra 1% cash back on those two categories. You can compare the two cards more in depth on the Capital One website here.
We have had our Savor card since 2017 and have made an average of $300 cash back each year, just by buying the items we would anyway. If you’d like to give either card a try, sign up through our link here.
