What we ordered:
Any of the Poké bowls are delicious. It really depends on what you like. Imagine a Subway but for sushi bowls. Kayla likes salmon while Erik likes tuna. All of the sauces are different and delicious. The beauty of the Poké bowls is the customization. Give one of the premade options a try or build your own. We highly suggest brown rice as a base and onion strings as a topping! If you’re interested in a recipe to make a poké bowl at home, check out our recipe here.
The Scale offers high quality food for reasonable prices. There are a few other Poké places in Vermont (hard to believe, I know), but the Scale is our favorite! If you are new to sushi in general, this is a great way to give it a try. They also have non-fish items that you can substitute, like tofu, chicken, and beef. Everyone is bound to find something they love here – even if they might not know it yet! We had never tried gochujang until we had the Scale’s gochujang mushrooms – now it’s one of our favorite steak marinades!
