The Verdict

Montpelier was sorely missing an Indian food option, so we are ecstatic that not only is there now one, but it’s top notch food. The wait for an order is usually around 30-40 minutes, which works out perfectly for us since we are driving from Waterbury. We strongly suggest Namaste to anyone who already likes Indian food, but also to those who haven’t yet gotten into it. There are some great gateway dishes on the menu, such as naan and cauliflower 65 (seriously, even people who don’t like cauliflower love this stuff!), and once you try it, there’s no going back. Or, rather, you’ll be going back every weekend. This place is that good.

Have you been to Namaste? Be sure to leave them a review on Facebook here or on Google, as they are a relatively new business that we want to ensure sticks around!

If you love paneer tikka masala and want to try making it at home, we have a recipe we love here.
