Review
June’s Spice Madam box was from Syria! We had an appetizer of M’hammara made with Aleppo Pepper, Suf’souf Salad made with Dried Mint, Lahm Bi Ajine made with Aleppo Pepper and Da’ah Blend, a side of Syrian Vermicelli Rice, and Barazek Cookies for dessert (we made some plain, some pistachio, and some sesame and pistachio). Our favorite dish is the M’hammara followed by the Lahm Bi Ajine. We were also pleasantly surprised by the Barazek Cookies, as they called for vinegar, but they are a great pairing with coffee or tea!
