Our November box (yes, we are a little late making it) was from the Sichuan Province of China. We used Chinese Five Spice, Toasted Sesame Seeds, Sichuan Peppercorns, and Facing Heaven Chili Peppers to make a Sichuan Chili Oil that was used in preparing Dry Fried Green Beans, Dan Dan Noodles (not pictured), Kung Pao Chicken, and Mapo Tofu (not pictured). There was also a recipe for Brown Sugar Guo Kui for dessert, but we haven’t made those yet. Look forward to our December box post the week of Christmas!
